    I dont trust them at the machine shop anymore...so I will do it myself!

    Heres a preliminary shifter knob...not sure if I like it yet. But its a cat skull to keep the Rats out...HaHa

    I straightened the torque tube with alot of heat...great idea kustom dick!

    Heres how I did it...

    I thought I bent the frame rail where the jack was...but after it cooled down I released the jack and the frame settled back to original...WHEW!

    Looks good. You don't need a panhard with a torque tube.
     
  9. That type of screen has a whole lot more "closed" than "open"area, I have seen it cause airflow problems, which resulted in overheating in another application.

    Thanks man.

    Im running coil over shocks. The panhard bar is needed to keep the rearend from swaying side to side.

    Thanks for the heads up. I put the grill in front of a fan and yes it cut down the air flow by 50%...so Ill have to run perforated with bigger holes or something different.

    good idea using a fan to figure that out. i will have to keep that trick for my application as well.

    A little update...

    Got the lever shock mounting done...just need to weld solid.

    ...and my shifter...HaHa...3/4 socket u joint it weighs 10 friggin pounds :D

    Would you be better off with a longer panhard bar that went from a bracket attached to the LH radius rod, so that you have a softer arc that it "travels" through?

    No I don't think he does hire a mover, cuz he knows the shit they pull to rack up the bill. Bad experience with movers. Plus they break everything.

    Been along time since l updated.
    I got a few things done.
    1) got her runniin...woo hoo
    2) finally got the radiator hooked up
    3) installed a rear mirror and made a guage cluster
    4) mocked up the interior seats
    5) repop trunks are $700 bucks so i made my own
    6) mounted my gas tank and battery in the trunk

    Lordy...l guess ive been a busy boy

    Pics to follow as soon as i figure out this new phone
