Wow, time flies. I just realized today that this is THIS weekend. I'm really considering going.

 

Looking forward to seeing all of the cars cruisin around Rochelle tomorrow nite from all the people staying at the hotels in town. The wife and I will probabally cruise over to Sams to check out the cars

 

Might as well go. After all, you're already in the right state.

The cruise night is in down town Byron just across the river from the drag strip at Sam's Drive-IN. Right on Route 2

 

We went outa town for the first test of the new 5.13 gear in my dad's 55 Chevy "Hartman's Hand Grenade"....


It went well.... a new 3rd member is being built as we speak.

 

Paul (INLAW MODEL A) deserves that credit. He has done a top shelf job with our website and has really stayed with it to keep everyone informed.

 

i m bringing my tudor no side glass they let me run the heads up nut i needed a helmet and sfi jacket it runs 14s so the belts didnt need to be dated but they made me wear the jacket

 

I can't resist, it's a 2.5 hour drive.

 

Man.............been driving so damn long I don't even know my own name.....just woke up in a rest area on the North side of St. Louis. .........oh baby.... Well time to get gone....5 hours to go....baby shit

Will it be worth a 300 mile trip (1 way) for only Sunday? Or will every thing be blownup by then? The temp will probably be bad, too. Right now we're still planning on leaving at 4:30 a.m. Sunday morn.

Will there be an ample supply of 93 octane gas in town,The Sinister Stude get very thirsty and I wanna do a BUNCH of cruisin! Same question for race fuel at track.I hate to carry fuel with me....Thanks! R~R and "The Sinister Stude

 

There is a gas station right in town between the track and Sams drive-in. And you can get race fuel right at the track.

We will be heading over tonight. See you all there.

All the stations have 93 octane in Byron. Only fill up at Mobile if you have 10-1 compression or higher. It doesn't contain the ethanol the other stations have. It makes a BIG difference.
