  8. My first nice car {1961} was a '51 Vicky , Fords first hardtop. Beautiful car. That wrap around window made that car. It was a real nice touch. Mine was red, white top. Red and white interior, and a 54 Merc flathead. Nosed and decked, lowered four inches. I wish I had it back. I doubt the corner windows can be cut, and plastic sucks. If you ever saw one chopped I think you would leave the top alone. Nice car, I envy you.

Be careful of the rivets in your jeans. A scratch would break thousands of hearts.:(

That's almost too beautiful to drive. Shouldn't this car be in a museum?

I love this car so very much Skip..... I really really do. However we need to talk about your signature. I feel like you're moving over to the dark side permanently. If putting stainless on that Vicky and tip toeing around that beautiful paintwork doesn't do it, I'm not sure there is much hope for you. :D

  13. shouldn't you be wearing white gloves? be careful

Looks drop-dead gorgeous with the stainless. Really makes that two-tone paint pop! Love the upholstery too. I agree with JeffreyJames...I absolutely LOVE this car!

We knew it would be hard ,but if anyone can do it it would be you, please get those bumpers on, years ago I helped a guy with a nice 41 chopped coupe push it back in the garage, you know the rest ,they have to go on anyway and they protect!

ABSOLUTE JEWEL'RY! Gonna have to get by and see it.

  23. Your at that point in the build where each piece adds that much more to the finished product and somewhat instant gradification. Unfortunately you have to hold your breath to put each piece back on from this point on. You should be really proud of yourself, this thing is tits.

Looks amazing! The un-frenched tail lights look great as will the door handles. You"re almost a restorer lol.

  25. It's worth it to check in here a few times a day just to see if there are updates. Best lookin' car on the HAMB.

  26. I would be OK with a before and after picture for each piece of trim as it goes on.
Can't get engough updates, it is looking really good.
