My newest project... 57 Chevy Truck

Really nice looking truck! Wish I would have never sold my '58.

Ah, so the 57 truck has a similar hood as the car but without the "bullets". Kool, i didnt know.

i also got a 57 chevy with the narrow, short bed and it also has the same 55 grille like yours. i think they're just about the sexiest looking pickups ever made. one of the great things about them is there is no plastic dash, and just about anything like fenders, floorpans, bed parts, well we can get just about everything/parts for them.

 

that is great in all stages. Stance, color and wheels. Great job.

 

Truck made it's official maiden voyage today! I put about 15 miles on it, with out a problem. Speedometer seems to be about 10mph slow. Had a little vibration above 50mph, but it seemed to go away the more I drove it. The tires could of had a flat spot in them. I will get it out more this weekend and post some more pictures.

 

Its good to see it on the road.

If I ever changed mine I would drop it a bit too.
I too like the look of 58/59 dual head lights, 57 hood and 55/56 grill. I think it has a real mean look to it.

Do you remember what the offset of those wheels was?

 

I do not remember what they were. They were standard off the shelf rims, no special offset.
