Nostalgia DragFest Invitational July 7th 2012 @ Oxford Dragway, Maine

Thanks to everyone who has posted pictures from this event. I have been reliving it all week.

 

Another car from the Helger stable...You just can't get any simpler than these kind of cars. Basically a T- Bucket frame add a cage, center steering, light weight wheels and you are ready to go racing. Lots of fun...

 

I think Jesse Helger, was driving the Head Hunter today.

 

The Whipple and Mr Ed F/C cacklecar owned by Reggie Bernnier.

 

John and Rodalynne Knox ran this car back in the seventies. John has restored it for cacklefest.

 

The Hi-LO Special at rest Sunday morning. This car just screams 1960...

 

This is the last of my pictures from Oxford, I wish I could have shot more as the place was packed on Saturday with a lot of great cars. The good sport award goes to my wife for spending our 33rd wedding aniversary at the track.
