Skip, it doesn't need to be inside - drive it in on Saturday morning and park it outside (I always enjoy seeing Terry Hegeman's Merc parked outside. Just another driver...). People from this board who only get to CA once every year or two would love to see this beauty in person. Where better? I'll spring for the first tank of gas! vic
Got a few "sneak peaks" today from the man hisself. He asked me to post these for him... Wearing one Sombrero... And with world-renowned car model jukejointjohnny!
Haha! yeah well the car has lured me. I couldn't miss this build... you guys are doing an incredible job, the car looks outstanding!
I think it's very interesting to see a car with someone standing next to it because it makes you realize the proportions and lines even more.
The chrome and stainless with make this thing JUMP out at you!!! You better drive it down here when it's done,Skip!!!
Looks like you have enough shiny bits to keep you busy for a while. Damn, that thing's going to be gorgeous when you get it all put together.
This image right here is why I can't mess with customs. Too much plating and polishing for my budget.....however, it doesn't mean I'm not insanely jealous of it at the same time!
This car is going to be out of this world once the chrome and stainless start going back on!! I can't wait.
Absolutely stunning! Also really dig the colors. Might even reconsider the color choice I made for my 56... Can't wait to see the car finished.
I expect you to not sleep until its done so I can see it ASAP. You should recruit a small army. I live in So Cal and if you ever attend a show near here I must see this car in person! GReat job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw it yesterday for the first time since it left to be painted.................as good as it looks in the pictures it's ten times better in person.
