    Looking cool! Even the details like painting the jambs and inside of the decklid make it look great. I love the idea of the two-tone steering wheel. It's gonna look pretty classy, man! Keep up the good work!

    thanks buddy.. classy is what im going for.. or actually.. classy "driver" is more like it.. im happy with less than perfect.. but its turning out ok for a driveway build!

    thanks homie.. sprayed the vintage white on the steering wheel tonight.. hoping to do the green and flaked sections tomorrow.. then i can take off my purple flaked Mooneyes steering wheel finally!

    i painted the cream white section tonight.. heres a pic with the original center cap...

  15. I think the bullet looks correct on a custom like yours . I like the smooth look . BTW the car is going to be some nice ride when your done . Not many people go to the levels of detail for , Ahem , what you are calling a driver . I dont think your giving yourself enough credit brother . Stay at it ,were watching !!

    CJ...the wheel is going to look perfect in that thing...Im thinking the bullet is perfect too just becuase of the style of your car....the original looks super nice tho! Cant wait to see that green finnished bro!

    That bullet cap looks awful nice, but I'm still diggin' the original center, just 'cause leaving the original somehow makes it look more unique! Such a cool little detail, ya hate to cover it up.

    thanks for the input guys.. i agree.. both look nice.. i guess ill paint the green sections then install so i can see it against my dash.. then make the decision!

    yep its getting there.. gonna have to make a trip up there soon to help you with your paint job:D

    yeah they both look cool.. my hubcaps have the same bullet on them.. but that original cap has a neat look to it.. soon brutha..soooon:)

    wheel looks bitchin, im a big fan of bullet caps but that stocker looks really good. either way is cool. this car is awesome dude. people look at me like im insane when i paint shit in front of my house. must be in good company :D

  27. Best paint job I ever laid down was old laquer in my driveway on my 56 Chevy 210 2 dr hdtp. Keep it up bud, its looking awesome

    nice badluck, lookin good, wish id seen this thread earlier , nice choice of colours, keep your pics coming, yep ive sprayed cars outside before ,its good in the way that the over spray doesnt get trapped inside it just floats away haha, love your roof looks fantastic man

    I hold my vote for the stock center. It looks better, and would be easier on your cranium in case of an accident :eek:
