hi, new guy here to this forum. been wrenching on cars, harleys and 4x4's for about 20 years (casually...not professionally). i def F-ed up more than i "fixed" loves: -hotrods.....low riders, etc -horse power and motors -motorcycles (harleys and indians) -my family -and most important...women with big boobs (thank goodness my wife has some..) i am currently turning my "model a" into a "hotrod" well, it isnt a real model A...it is actually a fiberglass replica body of a '32 model A.....with a 1973 ford 302 under the hood. power to weight ratio is pretty good since it is really light. it is fast in its current crusty state. currently, it is being overhauled. it hasnt been seriously worked on for almost 30 yrs. so it is getting some hardcore mechanical TLC. i am ready to learn a lot on this forum from some experts and hopefully get some advice. Later
Welcome from Oklahoma. My next project is my 31 Model A which I will hot rod. 31 was the last Model A then the 32 was a one year only design. Good luck on your project whether it's a Model A or a Deuce. Show us some pics.
Welcome from Rockmart GA, not too far from you, about 30 miles straight shot from the Thornton Rd exit off I-20. Henrietta the '38 Ford pickup and Ozelle the '55 Ford send friendly horn honks.
Welcome. You should come up to the drag strip in Commerce Saturday. You might find the parts you need to finish that Hot Rod.
