I have what appears to be a simpson paracute lever. I got it off of a old Scott finn chassis that i bought years ago.( it is a cool looking old piece - it has simpson on it ) Anyone know about how old this might be or how rare it is ??? The chassis was worn out/wrecked - it had been updated many time. So I got it for all the cool parts.

Bill Simpson had them made in the 60's.... it should have a toggle switch at the base so when you pulled the chute you could kill the mag at the same time.
They were not quite as trick as they sound because you really need to run the motor out of fuel before you kill the mag.
    Still a cool original part
It would make for a good fuel shut off lever with the mag switch ???
