how in hell did I miss this thread? ..................Great Job what are the spec's on the 60?

 

The engine is a `38 Ford V8 60, Bored .030, Isky Cam, I don`t have the specs. in front of me, topped with 2 81 Carburetors and Mallory Electronic Ignition. The water pump is driven off of the crankshaft. The headers were made in our shop.

Well, I finally got the tires dirty. I took the car to Goodguys at Charlotte last weekend and was lucky enough to get a Builders Choice award. The response to the car was made all the work worth it. Thanks to all of you who took the time to talk with me. I really enjoyed meeting so many nice people at the show.

I was thrilled to get the Builders Choice award at the Charlotte Southeast Nationals, but I was REALLY surprised when I found out that my car was on the Goodguys Magazine cover. Thanks Goodguys!
