It was only time before it happened. The weather in the NW in June is usually rain and well, we got rain on Sat for the show. It impacted attendance but overall it looked like everyone was having fun. The weather cleared for the cruise. Thanks to the Slo Pokes and Allen for this years show.

This was my maiden voyage in the 51 after a full tear down over the winter to swap in a V8 and automatic, new wiring and tires and wheels. I knew I had a problem the first time I turned on the light s (during the cruise) and I was reading only about 9 volts. Got back to the hotel that night but come morning, it would not start. a quick charge and off we went but 20 miles down the road it was clear the volts were dropping faster than the miles I was covering. My new Alternator took a crap and I had to stop in Olympia to buy a replacement. I have to say thanks to my follow Misfits for the help in swapping over the Alternator. 15 to 20 minutes and we were back on the road.

Dude, jump on and add any many as you want... the more the bettter.

49ratfink, those are 15x8 trick by realrodder (almost 9" outer edge to outer edge) with a 2 inch backspace. I relocated the springs inboard 2" and redid the outer edge of the inner fenders (I have a post with all the build up). The tires are hurst cheater slicks (29" tall).

I still have to adjust the front end height (either raising or lowering it move, but not leave it level)

Yeah Boones we had a good time. You know we'll always help, it's what we do. That alternator was just bad. The trip was a great shake down run for you. Besides it's all about the drive anyway, the adventure. Thanks again for taking pics as always.

I tried to shoot ever car but between down pours or just so many people around some cars, I missed some .. or maybe it was being distracted by the bottle of crown or shots of fireball that seemed to be going around..

burt21 loved your little PU. sounded bitchen rolling the streets.. (have to ask, how did you get that dent/ crease in the aluminum rear fender..)
