the thing about girlie shots,
the photographer takes a couple hundred shots,
and the ones that usually get picked,
are more chick than car.

the thing is,
if the girls werent there,
then the shot wouldn't be seen,
and then the car wouldn't be seen anyway!

My goal with S&K is twofold and sounds like it'll address a number of concerns listed here in ya'll's reponses:
1)I, too, think it's pretty cheesy when a mag claims to be all about cars but liberally sprinkles the thing with tons of girly pictures and doesn't really acknowledge ('Whoa, there's a half naked girl on that car? How'd she get there!'). S&K is about pix of cars AND girls-nothing else- no tech, no articles, interviews, etc. Just photos and art. I know that'll cut down on some 'readership', but I feel honest and upfront is the best course of action.
2)The balance between car and girl will be maintained in each pictoral I choose. It also won't be random. I really like what Van Story and one other photographer who's name escapes me is doing on that Chop Top site. What I like about their work is that it looks put together and classy, not amateur.

From what you said, I think you should check out www.aprilmayphotography.com. She's fucking awesome. And she's only 19 years old. Not much pinup photography, but the cars...man the cars.
