After what Tom Mcmullen did to his fordor, way back when, I thought I would go blind if I ever saw another Deuce 4-dr chopped, but you have made me change my mind (and saved my sight, thank you). This is by far the best chop on this body style I have ever seen, and great workmanship too, by the way!
wow, thanks for the compliments! ill be sure to post up more pics this coming week as i wrap up the metal work on it. thanks again!!!
Wow Joe, you dove in with both feet didn't you! I am glad you ended up getting it because you are building it exactly how I was going to, love it! Thanks for sending me the link, I was starting to get worried that I was going to lose track of her. Very nice metal work, the chop looks perfect. Keep it up!
Looks alot different from this pic, the day before she was picked up by Joe. I got alot of guys on the ford barn who wanted to buy it and said they would hate for it to be rodded but nobody ever even came close to my asking price except for Joe, I am GLAD it is in good hands and please, show us some pics of that motor you have told me about!!
Damn it! Until you got busy I was content with my 30 A mordoor's stock appearance. You have transformed a nice car info a great car! I am envious of your skill. I look forward to its "rebirth".
first 32 i ever chop! thank you everyone for the kind words. i am very very happy with how the chop looks, and i cant wait for Joe to get the car in color. its going to be a real looker! well i just about wrapped up my part. metal finished all i could, from here it will get blasted then minor body work primer and paint maybe easier said than done. garnish moldings: this one is little: front doors also required extensions: oxide primer: windshield frame chopped and still functional like stock: overall shots: till next time! i hope this helps some people out looking to chop their 32. i had a great time chopping this one and like i said before i look forward to more progress! see ya and enjoy Yaril
After seeing these photo's they make me wish I wasn't so tall,,or my ol 4 door might loose some height! HRP
wow guys thanks a lot! that was the first time i chop a 32 so i am glad to read everyone likes how it turned out. i know im super happy with it as is Joe. thats my 67 VW Squareback on Astros i built that wagon about 10 years ago in my backyard. thanks again everyone!!!
i received a cell phone pic from Joe that the body is off the frame and in final primer for final sanding. ill try and post that pic here unless Joe gets around to posting it.
HRP, I don't know how tall you are, but I'm about 6ft and I fit in my 3" chopped two-door sedan just fine. Now to see traffic lights I may have to duck down just a bit. Btw, Yaril, great job on that chop.
Whoa! That looks damn awesome! Very proportional chop! Well done sir! Someone gave the thread "1 STAR". Not sure why, but I'll give it 5 STARS!
