  3. NICE! Has to be worth at least 50 more horses!!! :D:D

The only thing nicer than the look of a well-dressed Y-block is the sound of one!

You could have added this to your existing thread instead of making a new one with the same title

    Chrome won't get you home.

But it sure makes you look good sat at the side of the road. :D

Be sure to take a grinder to all that flash and rough stuff on the block and heads before you paint them. Makes all the difference to a sweet looking motor.

Here is the first day i got my 292 home. Grease, oil, dirt, and totally rebuilt wrong. It had next to no ridge on the cylinders and brand new timing chain. No oil build up but buying it from a local Junk Yard i didnt trust its last builder so i took it apart and now starting all new. I have a set of 5752 113 heads that have been street ported and polished with heavy duty springs. I also put hard seats and decked it. New valves and job. ill post more pics as i go along. hope you like!

super cool box to hold my pistons and rods!

hey question to anyone out there. Has anyone filed or shortened 292 pistons to clear on a stroker 312 Crank? I bought a stroker crank and have 312 Rods but was told that the stock pistons(skirt) will need to be milled down to clear the block?

    any info would be appreciated
