It will be a huge job, and I dont think you will be able to handle it,,
I can take that off your hands and do you a favor,,:D:D

Actually you will need to replace all of that wood in the bed sides, and at the same time fix any rust outs, hope you have a good welder,
Probly need to take the cab off the frame, and have a way to do it,
redo all the attaching bolts and hardware, replace all of the gauges, decide what engine trans combo to run, and whether to keep that frame or get another, maybe a more modern motor home chassis, lets see. hows the glass?, wiring? so a total disassemble is going to be your best bet I'd say,,
sounds like a lot of work and a lot of fun at the same time.
    Good Luck on your project!!
I wish I could find an original chevy coe car hauler of 41-46 vintage,,

If it was mine, 5.9 Cummins, manual trans and late model 1 ton suspension. Traditional? No, but it would sure make a bitchin' shop truck/hauler...

I really hope you keep the "Fruit bat" hood on it, I think these are a cool way to go rather then the belly button look of the 62-66 hood.

UPSrodder, I like your truck. Heres ours down in New Zealand. Our truck has the wheels & tyres off our "its taken 20 years already" 37 Nash project.

Have had the 1970s vintage Chev 250 replaced with a 350/700r4 so I can tow the bucket home from the drags when I break it. truck has Jag steering, Jag IFS, and Jag IRS. Will become my daily driver

My '63 utiline in action. About the small front tires... they were the biggest ones I could afford... Slant six with factory 727 and adaptor. It was a no radio, no nuthin model. Dash is still uncut, but the rest is pretty beat. This pic is it's good side.

Fastcar1953, here a few more pikkys of our truck. We bought it without seeing it but had a mate look at it for us. Most of the pikkys were at a "day in the dirt" and was the first day we actually ever saw the truck. We were heading north on 30th wedding anniversary trip.

And heres one from when it was for sale before we got it. The crooked bumper and the flat black Jag rims didnt help it too much.
