So I'm into a new project... 59 Dodge Coronet. Is there anyone out there that can help me locate parts.... Emblems mirrors .... Anything for it really . Please let me know ... Thanks
Search function is your friend. Also, look at the member list and look for Mopar related names to start, go to the threads where they post and you will quickly learn who is a good source for anything related to your Coronet.
thanks for the info guys!! Kinda new to the forum. If anyone else has any leads please post... Thanks
I've got a friend who has been hoarding MOPAR stuff for 45 years. His collection of stuff is the largest I have ever seen. If you make up a list of what you need and get it to me, I can call him and ask him if he has it. I can't make any guarantees, but I'd give it real high odds that he might!
What kind of parts are you looking for??? Do you have a 2 dr or 4dr. I have a 2 dr 59 Custom Royal Lancer. Have you looked on e-bay under 59 Dodge.
Yes looked on ebay....looking for correct side mirrors some exterion trim. Need gauge lenses...parts are harder to find than i thought
Probably nothing specific, most likely have to get a generic kit from one of the places like Painless & go for it.
i got a 58 and you are right it is hard to find parts and info... but well worth it once you do find what you need... Ragtop add me to that list of needing mopar parts any help is much needed. Greaser Kat
YnZ or rhode island or make one from the old harness. You don't have to go modern unless you want to.
I'm not talking about mirrors and trim type stuff. But he's probably got anything you need in the lines of hard goods. Fuel pumps, etc. I know the other day he handed me a case of vintage MOPAR spark plugs, still in boxes. He's got NOS stuff like that. PM me if there's anything you need and I'll see what I can do.
I replaced my wiring harness with one from EZ Wiring. I use there kits in all my cars. I think I have a extra pair of outside fender mirrors. I had collected alot of parts when I started rebuilding my 59 Dodge. Yes parts are hard as H... to find for these cars. That is why my Dodge has a Chevy 350/700r, Camaro sub frame, trans-am rear end with 4 link. tilt wheel,a/c, power windows. It is now under going a complete repaint and interior job. Roof has been chopped 2 inches, handles shaves and all trim. There is a old picture in my album. I can't figure out how to post pics.
I've got some contacts for you, PM me what you're needing. As for wiring harnesses there is a guy named Greg Leggatt on the Chrysler 300 club that's hands down the best there is. Greg Leggatt, 8738 County Road 2, Napanee, Ontario, Canada. K7R 3L1. (613) 354-2712. Fax: (613) 354-0672, e-mail: [email protected] . Show quality wiring harnesses for Plymouth 1957 - 59, Dodge 1957 - 59, Chrysler 1957 - 66, Imperial 62 - 66.
Yep, that's Big M's . GREAT guy to deal with. I had a complete floor pan for my 59 shipped to Canada from there. Website: http://www.bigmauto.com/
