Looking awesome Rich, great to see the car in one color. Before you know it, she'll be done. Then what will you do? Keep up the great work!
Looks awesome. Love how the drip rail trails off on the horizontal. Well I love all of it, but that just stood out nicely in those pics!
Thanks man! Dark Chocolate brown, micro gold flake with a Winfield style fade, no top secrets Wished there was one close to me, a new trunk would be great! Thank you! you took the words right outta my mouth.. DRIVE, DRIVE!! Will do my friend Still she fine tuning to get them the way I want them, but I like it too. Thanks!!
very nice, can't wait to see it in color. Now I have an idea on how my 39 taillights will look on the back of my sedan, thankyou.
Bro....Thats thing is sick looking..Now that its one color you can see how nice everything looks..Great job!!Nice chop, great stance, nice color..LOVE IT..CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT IN PERSON..
Not fair... your making this look too damn easy. Cant believe you accomplished all that in about 1 year.. Great Job and thanks for all the details on this thread.. Inspiring
They look pretty good, but I think they are going to be short lived... We'll see. Thank you!! Thanks man! momentum and obsessive compulsiveness. Thank you!! we are getting there.
Well, the body is straight, and she IS in color, but black primer color The body is ready for paint and all my chrome and stainless is pretty much ready. I'm really thinking of going with a custom mixed satin chocolate brown paint. I have been on the fence about shiny paint, but when I imagine my car done, I keep seeing brown fades in satin .... I dunno, still dragging my feet on actual color, but she is straight and I'm driving! P.S. no, Im not leaving it as is and painting my wheels red.
Awesome progress Rich.....that metallic choc brown colour would look killer ! Same as the dash color right? Rat
Rich, follow your heart and go with the images that flash through your head. Love the stance and look of the car, asbsolutely awesome! Nice work Rich.
Yeah, but Dark Chocolate thanks a bunch Eric! Getting ready to do my front garnish mouldings, and wing vents. Finished the bodywork and primed the "easy" ones today (quarter windows, windshield, rear) Thanks for the inspiration! Moving right along....
WOW, it was quite a while that i didnt pick up on your thread, and when you say the body is straight you really mean that! Fucker seems flawless! And there is nothin wrong in rockin primer or satin metallics, its gonna look great. Hell! it looks great already.
Glad to see her up and driving! It is ultimately up to you, but on this car I think that shiny paint would be the way to go. That would add the touch of class that this car deserves. Beauty.
Great work. Chocolate brown? Just be ready to defend as this does not look like a turd from the pics.
Thomas31...great contribution towards the absolute PERFECT LOOK of this Mighty, Mighty MoPar and Slmlrd, you are an artist!
Thanks alot man, we'll see what actually happens with the color and the shiny/satin. Im all over the place. Will do, thanks a bunch!!! So far so good!! I do, I believe she deserves the be painted, taken care of and driven a bunch!! Haha, thank you!!! I know, I know.... Haha, Turd!! Mopa'ar to ya!! I wholeheartedly agree!! Finding someone not over or under qualified has been a bit of a problem up till now. Maybe that's why I want to go satin.... I can lay some primer and paint some parts here and there, but walking a whole car and it looking good is another thing. Good, cheap and fast, I can have two, right? Hahaha!! Nice build you are doing too!
Good to see you got it on the road...You've done a great job! I agree with farmer...more pics when you get a chance. Keep it up and enjoy! I'd like to see some more pics of that engine bay!
