Hot Rods Was Driving Down A Dirt Road Today...

...with my eyes darting from side-to-side, just in case something was hiding, when, off to the left, after passing the entrance to a small subdivision, I spot a familiar roof line above the berm...I turned around, and went back to the subdivision to check it out...here's what I saw...:

Got it!!! All steel '40 Willys coupe, 540 inch dual quad all aluminum Keith Black Hemi, 5-speed, Lobeck chassis with a straight axle, (but big rear tires)...he was just bringing it home from the upholstery shop...

...he told me I could hang out if I wanted while he fired it up and backed it off the trailer!

Did you offer him to trade his engine for a nice traditional injected small block? Coulda thrown in a nice magneto to seal the deal.
