Sorry kind of new to Aps and all this type of stuff. So you download the ap and it gives you various filters to shoot through or do you apply the effects after you have taken the pic?

Sorry again, bit thick with todays gizmos

  4. Wow, those are great shots!
    Cool app for sure.
I wish they could make that work with video's as well.

Thanks for posting your pics, we had a blast at the show as well.

  7. I use the hipstamatic filter app. It's fun and a little bit frustrating at the same time.

When you download the app, it'll be pretty easy to figure out. Just mess around with the different buttons until you know what's going on. You can shoot directly with the filters or take pics with the regular camera and then load those into the vintage app. From there you can choose which filter you want to use.

    Plug and play.

  9. There is a LOT of us HAMBers using Instagram. Once you find two or three, you'll find the rest, cause we keep liking/following each others shit. Least, that's how it worked for me.

  10. Kool pics. I'll have to check out that app. You caught me in this one... ImageUploadedByTJJ1338324062.955613.jpg

Just after having nearly 40 different metallics, pearls, candies and flakes delivered recently to start playing with , this comes along to take even more of my time up.

I updated my camera and video and also got the Ap. Zoom on the video and pics is a great help. Your right easy enough to use and a lot to mess about with.

Should be fun, just a quick mess about...

No problem. Have fun with that app AND ton-o-flake.

That last batch was the last of my friday night pics. I'll post more up from the show on saturday when I get home from work.

GREAT shots!! I'm going to have to look more into that app.. It looks like you have an iPhone 4S? I don't see any of those grainy shots that you get with the 3GS but then again, it's past due time for me to upgrade. :)

Yup! As a matter of fact, you can get started if some of us post our user names up. What do you say? :D

it really look like badly maintained vintage photo equipment, and badly stored slides! it does look kinda cool though, even with the same scratch marks repeating over and over.

    Glad you like it!

Don't worry man, I'm not taking this seriously...it is called "Fun" with iPhone Filters. :D ;) Here are a few unmolested pics without filters for a good comparison. Overall, I've just been impressed with the quality of pics my iPhone has been taking, with or without filters. Even the quality of shots taken of moving objects in low light come out pretty good.

    These are the real deal.......

I mostly like the way the vintage app affects color, composition, contrast and exposure and the overall mood that creates. Now, back to the filtered view.
