West Coast Kustoms, Cruising Nationals, Santa Maria 2012! A few pics I took using my iPhone and a vintage photo app that I've been playing around with. These are from friday morning in front of the Santa Maria inn.

Hey, I thought that was you cruising the two toned 55 Chevy friday night. Saw your car on saturday while I was wandering around, but never caught you either.

I was spending all my energy trying to stay warm...us Hawaii folk don't have the skin for that kind of cold wind.

Speaking of iPhone filters... anyone have the app instagram? Its a pretty cool photo editer and you can share your photos with people that follow you. Always good to find other car guys with good photos to enjoy.

Glad you guys are enjoying them. I've been really pleased with the photos my iPhone has been taking and using the vintage filters makes it even more fun. I don't even tote around a camera to shows anymore.

My wife has been using Instagram and I've been considering checking it out. Looks interesting without all the Facebook jibbah-jabbah.

Yeah, my wife told me about it. Thats why I like it, none of that facebook mess... I really like the fact that theres so many people all over the world on it. Its like seeing the local cruise ins around the world. Something to kill the time :)

Cool man, dig the fastback chevy with the lines and imperfections in the filter that make it look like an old and wheathered picture. Cool! ~sololobo~

Was that street restricted to just the old cars? It's neat how you didn't catch anything new. Usually I am not a fan of filters, as such, but those shots with customs and hot rods, only, was really neat to see.

Yes, the main drag through town is closed off to only participating cars on friday night. The cruise goes on for a couple of hours. That's why there isn't anything new to ruin the photo.

It's easy to get carried away with the filters. I just thought I'd run this thread with "vintage" pics exclusively.

    Enjoy.

Ha ha, kind of ironic, isn't it?!

High tech meets low tech. It's the new trad.

Okay i'm going to have to ask, how does it work, various filters? I've got an I-phone and quite fancy messing about with this. I was going to upgrade to the better camera device aswell.

    Thanks Dan:cool:

    Hi Dan,

It's an app I bought called Ttv Camera. Search for it on your phone. It gives you a great selection of filters to choose from. Things like Rollieflex, Minolta, Lomo, Hasselblad, etc.
