I didn't read the whole thread, but back in Linden NJ, there used to be a real hot 56 Chevy, baby blue metallic, teardrop hood scoop, radiused wheel wells, roll bar, I believe. I once dated the guy's younger siste, Allison Kaiser, and my friend, Jack Karamus actually bought the car after it sat unused for a LONG time. I helped him fix it up, but later he sold it, and I don't know where it went. Unfortunately!
The car's name was : "Pure Pandemonium"!

Hemi Honker ... I always liked the goose painted on the side

Thinking about naming my OT ridge runner "Dollars into dimes" if it ever makes it to paint.

I guess after all these years my memories have got a little fuzzy. It wasn't a wagon after all.

Read this entire thread and loved the names! I've been fasenated by car names since I started racing, the imagination out there never ceases to amaze me.

I have a '65 Barracuda painted PPG Light Lavender. I want the '60's lettering on the back window of either "Nice Glass!" or "Nice Piece of Glass".

Some of the names at BIR that I can think of:

    Mr. Twister
Drag Queen - Early ’70’s Cuda in Panther Pink, Pink Panther in a bikini, raced by a woman out of Bandimere
Candy Wagon - Nomad with red and white striped roof that does awesome wheel stands
    Neighborhood Nuisance
    Somebody’s Nightmare
    The Agitator
Fast N’ Furious - Plymouth Fury III, was name this well before the movies
Hook - Guy that drives it has a prosthetic arm, logo from the Dustin Hoffman movie on the door
    Wild Thing
    Street Cleaner
    Quarter Flash
    Devil in a Green Dress
    The Color of Money
    Going Bananas
Teacher’s Pet - Retired school teacher
    The Instigator
    Shock Therapy
    Motovation
    Insanity
She Devil - Mom & Daughter share the name, daughter has it on her Jr. to match Mom’s
Miss Behavin’ - Girl’s Jr dragster
    Nitro Bunny
    Rumble Fish
Woulda, Shoulda, Cuda - ’67 Barracuda
    Bisquick - Biscayne
    No Adult Supervision
Snot Rod - Lime green ’70’s wagon

  7. Here is mine. The first picture is how the car looked from 1980-86. The second is to the present.
Our Race Team Name is The No Frills Racing Team. Because it was run in the early days with hardly any money and it stuck.

"Bean Bandits" is actually the name of a racing team. It's not the name of any particular car.

In 1976 our A/Fuel cae was named the Proud American. The best I have seen is the Richins and Pierman Iron Horse AA/FD.

Not bad! I could see that. Maybe "Izit Dunyet?" Lol... I'm not expecting any kind of longevity from the engine, and I actually sorta hope it blows early on, just for shits and giggles. Hey! How 'bout "Shitz-N-Gigglez"?

Haven't read all 24 pages but the one name I always liked was on a O/T 70ish Cuda/Challanger (been a long time).. Tempus Fugit... time flies in Latin. Sounded dirty to a 12 year old.

I had a 69 camaro called "Thumper", a 67 Camaro called "Malfunction". I nick named my 41 Willys coupe "Bad Gas". There was a 64 or 65 GTO called "Eradicator" out of Illinois and a 70's Camaro called "The Streaker" with a really ugly naked lady painted on the side from Oklahoma.

The Chicken Hawk ('51 Studebaker) - Never saw it race, but Ted Harbit (owner/driver) is a Studebaker drag racing legend.

Greorge Krem's "Plain Brown Wrapper" 64 Studebaker R3 Challenger always kicks some serious butt at the annual Pure Stock Drag Races. Driven by Ted Harbit.
