Need a car car shipped from So Cal to Detroit in a few weeks. Car runs but may not stop very well. Never done this before so any tips, suggestions or leads on a transporter are welcome.

    Thanks

Dont use Elite out of Columbus OH, unless you want to pay for damage done in transit!

I used direct connect auto shippers:
2717 west cypress creek rd ft lauderdale
    9543213404
They were good I had my truck in a week and it was going from one coast to the other.
I would do a quick brake job before hand if you can. That will help you get it shipped faster and cheaper. If not it may take a little longer or cost a little more.

    Good Luck

Oh yeah and if you decide to go for any other ones make sure you do a google check them at very least. I have read about night mares. Make sure they fully insure the car.

You want open trailer or closed?

If you want closed Reliable is in Canton Pilot transport is in Brighton. We have used them both they are very professional and are some of the best. Only down side is the price.

Open I have used Road Runner transport they were also good Picked up on time and dropped off on time. Been a few years I lost there number

I live about a minute from Reliable. The car I bought isnt that nice, been outside for its whole life so I dont need enclosed. Looking for an economical and trustworthy hauler.

  11. There are 3 quality transporters in the Hamb O Dex section: Racinman Rick, BenD & myself, none of us are brokers, you are dealing with the person that will deliver you vehicle. Send any one of use a P.M. or a call for a price quote. But keep in mind we are all usually booked a couple of weeks in advance.

I've only used BenD and he absolutely AWESOME. In know for a fact he will be in CA in a couple of weeks. Not sure if he's got a haul back eastbound yet or not. He delivers to the Detroit area on a regualr bases. PM or call him for a quote.

The offer goes out to you as well Rick, anytime you need a place to crash here in Detroit I've got you covered. In fact, I'm going to be really upset if you deliver this car, or any car, and we don't hang out for awhile.
