Dad traded his 38 Deluxe sedan for this 57 Ford 300. It's running a built 460 with a TopLoader and a 3.89 posi rear. As my Grandpa would have said, it's a goin' Jezzie (Jezzebel)!

Already thinking the front end needs to be higher and possibly two-tone on the paint....kind of nice having one that you can bump the key and drive for once..lol

    That is one cool Ford!
And with that 460 will definitely have all the attitude you want!!
Lots of possibilities for that one.
    Cheers.......

Nice Tudor. Keep it 'clean', consider one soft color, with the Americans...also, some Firestone Darlingtons.

(Kinda like a 'restored NASCAR' of the period...Check out some of the 427 '63 Galaxies on here, slightly raised curb height, 'husky' look; but keep it 'subtle'.)

Nice, one of my trade school buddies had one like that with a 390 and four speed that he painted 57 Pontiac lime fire green that looked sharp as all get out.

I'd say that the young lady has plans for that car when she gets up to driving age.

460 with a 4 speed. I can hear the butt-puckering crunch of drivetrain parts breaking right now.

out of all the 57 - 8 and 9 fords, the 57 300 is my favorite.

BOP-NUT..thanks for making the pics show up!..lol PM me how you did it...

Yes, it was at Pate a few weeks ago, we'd been talking to him for a bit before that. Overall, pretty happy with the trade, rust is there but not overwhelming.

Hadn't considered the NASCAR look, that's not a bad idea! Dad's kind of leaning towards Seafoam green with a white and dark green trimmed interior..possibly two-toned.

Daughter wanted me to take her to school in it this morning..lol Maybe tomorrow, got to figure out where the radiator is leaking from, but her school is only 2 miles away.....hhhmmm...lol

I have to see if I can find some pics of the 38, I can put the Craigslist ad up, it was on there probably within the 10 minutes it took to drive from the guys house to mine!
