I don't know but on an straight 8 Buick the holes should all be on the driver's side? And I'm thinking they had Siamese exhaust ports so there might be less than the cylinder count? Wow,so many questions..........
It really sucks some one ask for ideas on something they are inerested in doing and all i have seen is negative comments.
That's because what they are thinking of doing is really out there and way beyond just plain dumb. It's not true that there are no such thing as stupid questions. Some people are really good at them.
Someone could learn how a timing light works at the least from this thread, instead its a normal bashing party.
I can't believe I just read every entry on this post... The Pep boys stick on port holes are all the rage where I live. Buick, honda, toyota, port holes for everyone! I've even seen them stuck on the quarter panel next to the trunk. OP,flashing lights are not my taste, but if you dig it, rock em...
"Where ignorance is bliss, 'tis folly to be wise." This thread started of with a question, "How do I flash lights when plugs fire? " I don't see many answers, but plenty of opinions about the idea.
Try these guys: http://subaneon.com/ The blue/purple things on top of the valve covers flash with the plugs. They used to make them they still might.
