  1. I repair these, and have parts for anyone in need. SUN, mostly, some Allen, and others.

I have an allen system III, I would like some info on it and possibly the HEI lead for the arm for the scope. And if possible, where to get the cal gas.

    Thanks

  3. That's good to know. My tune-up equipment might need a tune-up>>>>.

    Rmasters3,

You're not the infamous "Sparky" that worked for SUN, are you?

I'd love to find an adapter for HEI units.

I've found Bob to be very helpful on Sun machines. I've bought parts and manuals from him. Nice guy.

I'm fixing up a MD-1 and a SDT I would like to find the original owners manuals and a manometer set up for my MD-1 since it is missing and would like to restore it. I could use a knob and new battery covers if available. They made a rubber mat for the car battery too that I don't have. I need to upgrade the capacitors and diode kit if you have them. I will need to eventually be able to test electronic distributors. Can you tell me if there is a way to date these two machines accurately? The MD-1 has a tune up scroll that shows 1955 cars as the latest so I'm guessing 1954 or 1955. I don't know on the SDT except it also takes 2 Dcell batteries. Can the serial number tell the exact year?
I also need two of the D cell battery sleeves as mine are corroded from acid leaking batteries.
    Thank You,

It doesn't look like Bob Masters has been on this site for about 1 1/2 years, you might contact him at http://www.distributortester.com/
