    '57-up Corvette intakes had the "dog bone" design.
    Early Weiands had the four-hole design, later ones adapted the factory's dog-bone layout.

    My Weiand 322 2x4 intake has the 4-hole, and I've seen other 322 intakes with the dog-bone.

    Alrighty, I cut the corners off a set of series 40 flowmasters to fit where the resonators go, now to see how creative I can get with the chambered exhaust pipes in place of the water heater sized muffler behind the axle.
    Called Dave at Coys and they are going to cut a set of polished C-57's to fit. I went with 17's because they gave me a little leeway on the backspacing. The wheels won't be here for the swap meet this month, so I guess it goes next month with even more work done to it.

    Speaking of resonators, I learned something last month... Cherry Bomb (actually, its parent company) makes a shload of resonators for the OEs... guess what "resonators" are?

    Glass packs. Made on the same line as Cherry Bombs.
    Makes me wonder how a pair of un-filled welded-can mufflers from Cherry Bomb would sound, flowing into a glass packs behind the axle.
