I will try to be there. I am changing some stuff on the fuel system and I'm waiting for parts to be delivered this week.

Hopefully I can have the car put back together in time!

I plan on attending. Will be my 1st HAMBers event, so looking forward to meeting some folks. Maybe someone can give me some advise on my brake problems.

John, I dig the rims on it now. They haven't always been on it right?

  14. Johnn,
Cool new look to the Yorkster - the last time I saw it at Carnage on Larimer last year it had black steel wheels and matching whitewalls front and back.

Finally found a way to display my banner. Doubt it will hold up to driving speed though. Should make me pretty easy to spot, a little over 10ft tall

PGJ - Its my birthday too! But Im not married, ha. This is an awesome show, hope to finally meet a few of you. I'll be in the daily though, as the 54 seems to be in a perpetual state of not being worked on. Its shows like the cruise that motivate me. Anyone have any details on the swap at Bandimere? Is it worth it and is the a cost for admission?

  20. Found this on the Bandimere site for time and cost:
    http://www.bandimere.com/events/displayevent_detail.php?eventID=346

I haven't been before, so I'll let others chime in on the quality of the event.

See you tomorrow afternoon / evening!

Bunch of us from the Springs were there. Good times, Lots of cool cars. Gonna make the next one...

  27. Great day at the cruise - hope everyone made it home before the weather turned. I'm sorthing through a few thousand photos and will post some up later tonight and tomorrow morning. There will be a lot more on the Golden Super Cruise site next week.

Jeff - I think I got one of you in traffic next to a red Ford GT - I'll have to hunt that one down an post it soon.

I got a few of the group in the church parking lot and got a couple of John and the Yorkster at the round about.

  28. Great first cruise, and good to meet a few people.
Had a ground issue on the coupe and had to drive home on side-lights down the 93.... That was er interesting!

Think I also busted a rocker or valve spring,as well a god awful knock started on the valve train when I got to Boulder... Going to pull it apart tomorrow as I was going to swap in my NOS stude rockers.

  29. Dave - Your not running Lucas electrics in that fine rod are you?

Hope you didn't harm anything to badly. I should have gone up the hill to say hello. Go a shot of you (I think), sitting on the front tire of Cad the Imapaler.

  30. As always, worth the trip! Nice to meet John and the yorkster. That car is BBBBAAAAADDDD!! Great job on it. Probably won't make it back till July. Out of town next month for my nephews HS graduation in wonderful hot, muggy Florida.
