We took a break and then it developed some engine gremlins..... been takin it easy for awhile and doin some work on the Buick....... the truck will be back in the loop soon.............
Slammed, I sent you a pm. Here's the Buick (with Uncle Chet's ugly mug in the way): Dennis, sorry I didn't get the chance to talk. I looked at the truck in Salina, it's going to be nice. I saw the Buick for the first time at the Rumble. I really like this car. We dig the upholstery and wondered who did it.
Junk new carb???? so you put on a different one , and fixed it, great, I know jimmy was done trying to find the vacum leak. see you soon.
well then what was the problem, come on , us young guys need to learn , and ifn you aint teachin' we can't learn form you !! LOl
Hey Finkd, you spell it this way, f-r-o-m, not, f-o-r-m. Thats my lesson for the night. Hope it helps you learn.
engine is ugly but it suuuuuure runs good now...... we have some lessons learned under our belt as far as running a hopped up 292 with a 700r4 behind it goes..... Thanks Jimmie and Bruce!.......truck is finally running 'right', but now we tear it all down at the body shop one more time.......paint is a comin!.....
The "Stray Kat" Paparazzi shot these pictures Early this year. When you get the chance to see the truck take some time to study it, a lot of the changes that were made you will never pick them out. When it is finished it may end up kooler then his '56 Chevy. I don't know how the team of McPhail & Meyers do it year after year. They are the real Dynamic Duo... Imagine the baddest 6 cy that you ever heard and that is what the truck sounds like. Happy Trails, Mick
Well, I don't know about the mill but the truck is looking' cool! And congrats on the ink in the paper today. That was pretty cool too!
