Is the tank hard mounted now? or do you still need to drill and slap in the bolts?

I got my new rear tires 7.50 X 16 firestone non directional military tires. Richies tires did a great job mounting them. they buffed out the rust put new tube and tires[IMG]

Looks sorta crazy but since its a 4banger and after all was designed as a pickup truck once all the fenders are on it should pan out to be a nice lil grocery getter.

Ok so i have made some good progress on fitting everything back together. Sad to say these are not the right running boards and do not fit. And money is tight I don't have cash now to get the right ones. But In my old pics everything was just sitting on and nothing bolted together but I have spent the last couple weekends putting on taking off and figuring out this 86 yr old puzzle I bought. I have bought a lot if projects before and always ending up se;ling them as basket cases. So it feels good to be putting one back together. But something so old should not fight me so hard. when i want to bring it back to a looking good.

So Im torn On what to do about these running boards I can make them fit if grind one edge off. But I don't want to cut up something to make it work. Im trying to get this truck put back together. I have thought about making some temporary wood running boards, putting a nice stain and lacquer. Sadly once it is done I am going to sell it. It has always been one of my favorite trucks But once I bought one I realized I didn't fit comfortably. I save it from being cut up though the guy I bought it from said he wanted to make it a rat rod.
