Hi all. I'm a 46 year old commercial artist from Northern Alabama. I used to live in Decatur but recently relocated nearer the Shoals area where I own and operate a tattoo shop. I've been an airbrusher off and on for over 30 years, and a tattooist for 15. I also do a little pinstriping here and there as well. I'm really into Kustom Kulture and lowbrow art in all it's forms, and to me hotrods are just an extension of all that. I've been into car culture and car art most all my life (avid reader of CARtoons as a kid). I've at times fooled around with Vettes (75 Roadster, 76 & 77 Coupes), Air-cooled VWs (66 Beetle, 67 Beetle, 69 Ghia, 68 & 73 Squarebacks), and Jeeps (80 CJ7, 85, 88, and 89 Grand Wagoneers, 83 Full Size Cherokee Chief, 63 Gladiator, and 98 Wrangler). My most recent project was a 49 Chevy 3100 5-window, which I regretfully sold last year and am currently looking for a replacement. I also have a Flathead V8 sitting under my carport which I plan to soon start building (it'll be my first attempt at a car motor) along with a Model A Hotrod to put it in - a very traditional hotrod, but not a rat rod. Not sure how I found HAMB but I'm glad I did.
