the valve cover looks like a small block ford like a 302 or 289 but I can't see how many bolt holes it has other than the 4 that are obvious. If its not small ford maybe a 351/400 ford. The heater is cool I haven't a clue what its out of.
i will guess some sort of slant 6 Mopar something! 60`s Dart? as for the heater,um some kind of Willy`s or Mopar? i am not good at this shit but it is just a guess!!
the valve cover looks like my old slant six but it's not wide enough... Heater looks like a prop for "rocketman" very cool
I know, that is not actually a heater. That is the Helmet from the Movie " The Rocketeer". Send me my prize. BB
Looks like an old drive in speaker with an ashtray for guys who's wife won't let em smoke in the car.
Wait a minute- I contend that the heater is not the ORIGINAL Willys -but an aftermarket unit......the valve cover is a Falcon /Comet 6
-------------------------------------------------------------------------- VC looks like a early Ford Fiesta Heater could be an aftermarket (dealer installed) in an early Willys
-------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey Tingler, i had one of those pieces of shit too, along time ago, but when you add as much oil as i had to, that valve cover just stays in your memory. PM comming---looking forward to your drawing, 'preciate it. Thanks
Same 1600 L4 engine was in Cortina's 67-70 imported here to the US (My 1st & only GTA was taking the Dads Cortina out for a joy ride when I thought he was asleep, got yanked out while still in motion when I got back, I think 12yrs old ) This engine was also in 70-1/2 Pintos to 73. They then went to a german 2000cc then ended up with a 2300cc US built eng with the current base engine in the ranger p/u is a deritive. The Fiesta ended up using 1600 from like the mid 70's to the end of production when the Escort came out.
Fiesta... want one? I've got a rock solid Arizona one stored in my barn, and several tons of parts too! I used to SCCA road race one, back in the old days.
