  2. Well it kind of looks like a radiator in the picture. No way to know what quality it is without a brand or a location it is manufactured or ???

  3. They are nice quality but yes, they are an offshore rad. These guys sell the same thing and are really good to deal with.

Whats the big deal...an all aluminum radiator SHOULDN'T cost over $200....they are easy to manufacture and the materials are cheap...I guess the REAL question is..WHY do we pay $600-700 for well-known brand names...????

This is where "using what ya got available" helped me. I had a brand new 1967 Mustang radiator. Set a 3' chunk of 3/8" x 1" flat stock on the front x- member. Set the radiator and the '32 grill shell fit perfectly. You can get them at most auto parts stores. If youre not using a SBF, take it to somebody & have them weld in the hose ports where you need them. Just my $0.02 :)

I have bought stuff from him on ebay. Fast shipping and I was happy with it.

I've used them but it only last a year. After it developed a leak, I went to copper/brass.

some cheapo aluminum radiators glued together. part of why big name radiators cost more is because made in US for usually non common rides. but. still does not seem to justify extremely high price tag

I had also "china Aluminum" -radiator (same outlook) in my 1932, but that was not enough efficient in middle summer and city trafic. (comp.ratio 11,5:1).

Now 3 season used walker copper and no problems. All of my customers who are used walkers are very satisfied. Expensive but best.

That old saying doesn't hold water. There are lots of people selling the same items for various prices. Do you get more for the identical item if you pay more for it?

    bandit,
I've purchased numerous items from the seller abad71camaro on Ebay, and it has always been great quality for a good price. Wouldn't hesitate to buy it if I needed one.

Come on guys, if we stop paying the big name shops double to triple what their items are worth how will the owners be able to afford their rides?

  19. I agree, all welded construction, very nice.

  20. I have used 4 of them now and all had different power plants and not a single problem with any of them. Having friends that owned radiator shops, and seeing how little they cost to make, i find it very hard to fork over the amount that Walker and some of the others want.

If you have an original radiator, any good shop can re core it, for a lot less than a new one.... Lacking that option, I'd go for something like Walker....Pricey,...but then, we get what we pay for. Never had one come back!!
