Hot Rods ALASKA Hot Rodders??? Any out there???

I just moved up to Anchorage, Alaska due to the military's say so. didnt have much of a choice!!! Im just wondering if there are any hot rod shops/ events/ traditional minded guys up here. Below is a picture of my roadster and what style i am into. Any info would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!!

Hate to tell ya this, but "traditional" rodding in Alaska involves a bunch of dogs, a sled, and a crate of diphtheria serum.

I was gonna say that most of us run cars instead, because they're not as tempermental and don't dirty up the yard as much, but then I said hey, wait a minute...

I founded "MIDNIGHT SUN STREET ASSOC" in Anchorage in early 73. Look them up, its still alive and well!! Lots of HOT RODS!!! They have a web site. This "FOUNDING FATHER" goes back every summer, leaving again in late MAY, back to AZ mid OCT.
