HOMEMADE VENTIPORT do you like it or not ?

Hi Guys

this morning I was busy in my shop and found something to make a low budget ventiport.
it is made from something you see every day.

what do you guys think.
should I put these in my hood or not. ?

Makes a better trim ring for a gas filler.

i think it would look good molded in and body color but right now it still looks like a sink drain
