I would Google for a search and go from there . Not a popular car for a tank but never know .
You can try a radiator shop to have the tank flushed and cleaned . Then they might be able to weld it up for you and seal it . DON'T try cleaning it yourself and welding it . You just might find out how bad you didn't get all the fuel cleaned out ! That can be very dangerous so leave it to the Professionals !

    Try this place - http://www.buycheapr.com/us/result.jsp?ga=us22&q=1950+dodge+gas+tank

A friend of mine got a new tank for his '50 Coronet.
I'll ask him where he got his and PM you next week
His has a complete drivetrain out of a Dakota pickup 360 V8!

Youll want to have it boiled out if its all gunked up, it has to be really clean to seal it. I use the tank sealer from KBS Coatings, works great!

After you get it cleaned, you can tin the affected area, and solder it with a big soldering iron. The type you heat with a blowtorch. Safe and effective.

I use pennys to solder on the tank after tinning it. They work great and there is always plenty around.
