HRP, I am in awe of the beautiful Ranch Wagon. Every detail is on target and subtle cool. The interior is so spot on, Congrats on a fab machine. I drive a 59 Ranch Wagon so am always watching anything closely related. I hope I get to see Mrs. HRP's dandy some time in person. Enjoy kids. ~sololobo~

  5. We have put right at 200 miles on the car so far,Brenda finally got a chance to drive the wagon today and took me out and bought me dinner.

I young guy pulled up next to us at a read light and told her "that car is Bad Ass" and gave her a thumbs up!:D

I don't think a side grinder could remove that smile,,she is one happy girl and it's been almost 30 years since the last time she drove this wagon.!:D HRP

Like the smile on the Mrs. My wife says if it were her's there would be only one set of keys and they WOULDN'T be in your (my) pocket.:D
There is something about being married to a car guy. "Honey, I'll only put a greasy car part in the back just this one time..............promise".

I've been following your build on the wagon. It's been a long time coming but your time was well spent. It's absolutely beautiful, as are your other cars.................Mike

the car doesnt shine nearly as much as the smile she is wearing. and since she has now gotten to drive it, bet she has you on a wild goose chase looking for the keys. good luck getting them back.

  14. We applied to the S.C.D.M.V to use a YOM tag on the wagon and it was approved today.:)

The old tag just looks better and looks right on the wagon. HRP

Two door wagons are nice. Hell I have had a couple of Chevy wagons over the years. They say I got a little carried away on my last one.
Great job on yours. Enjoy it.

  22. Thank you Frank,,you can rest assured there won't be any greasy parts ridding in the back.

    Thanks Mike,i appriciate it.

    Thank you Ken

No doubt that Dave's name doesn't come up every time I talk about the wagon,,he was very instrumental in the entire building process.

Looking forward to seeing you and Vicki in Seneca on Saturday.

Thank you Josh,it's been a long road but both Brenda and I am happy with the results,,hope to see you at the swap meet. HRP

That is gorgeous! Love the color, it's pretty close to my '36. You'll LOVE driving it. It's kinda odd, but my wife and I both like driving/riding in our '51 Pontiac wagon. It's bright, airy, comfortable, it just makes us feel good being in it. Enjoy it after all that hard work!

  29. I think my favorite picture in your build thread was the black and white pic when your wife was little standing next to the car with her mom ( I think it was her mom) anyway, great build, cool car.
