That is funny. I think Bob is gonna be busy puttin the old oil back in......now where was that filter I took off>>>>
Haha....That'll be a big relief to the blind illiterates hanging around here. Now they might go away (with satisfied grins on their faces) Nice chop Bob..post up some "how to" details
Oh man, that's a real shame because there are some photos on here of a chop that Bob Bleed did on a car that looks almost supernaturally like yours that came out absolutely bitchen. Paul
From the photo, the height of the door window opening looks just a tad too big in relation to the roof and body. I say "chop it" just enough to make it look less boulbous. Could you please post a photo of the car showing the side profile.
well, I'd bet ya a dollar that it belongs to the fella that started this thread.... ;~) The owners name is Billy Powell out of Houston, TX and the builder that's been handling the chop is Bob Bleed out of the Austin Speed Shop in Austin, TX.
Unmolested cars are getting harder and harder to find. When we were kids we butchered them up to make them look different and what was the norm. Different now is to have one like they were back then. I looked for 4 years for an unmolested 49 or 50 Mercury and finally found one. I just lowered the car and it makes it appear to be chopped. If you put a torch to that car you will never forgive yourself. Go find something already buggered up!
Holy shit that is too funny! Now I want to change my vote to no chop just lower it and make it look chopped.
Too funny! What a great looking car before..........and after! That car is dream material right there.
funny how most people here dont read the threads, hah. still posting " no chop " ^^^^ very nice work bob
I'll take that bet and double down that at least 20 more people respond "no, dont chop it!" within the next week!!
....and that is probably the TRUEST analogy you're going to get on chopping cars. ESPECIALLY this one!
