I know there's a bunch of fellows on the HAMB who have participated in the PRC's Reliability Runs so I'm wondering who is planning to attend their 10th Anniversary Picnic comming up this May? Having resigned from the PRC last August, and after chairing the last 3 of their Reliability Runs, I must say that I am really looking forward to attending one of their events as a civilian, free to hang out, actually look at all of the hotrods and be able to BS with a bunch of people. I know of several guys that received their invitations so I know they're out there. So who all is going?
Just to be clear, this is NOT a Reliability Run. This event is a picnic that you drive your roadster too. According to their application, the same vehicle rules apply to this as their past Reliability Runs. The e-mail contact on the application is [email protected] I do know from past experience that they will want to see a few pictures of your roadster to make sure that it fits their criteria before a person is added to the invite list. So you ought to go ahead and include some with your inquirey.
Might be time to borrow one. We put this together as a way for our past participants to use their roadsters and enjoy a ride to a great place. We did a picnic 10 yrs ago and we invited many original Hot Rodders that are now no longer with us. It's 10 years since we did the last one, so what better way to say thanks to all of our friends that attended our RR's. If ya have any pix from back when bring em with. This will be a day to share with your friends. If you;re not on our mailing list and you have a car that meets the criteria, pm us, we'll see what we can do about getting you out an invite. Thanx, CK. PRC-Picnic-Reunion Committee Member 02,12.
Kevin, I was honored to participate in the last three reliability runs and have sent in my registration for the picnic. Looking forward to seeing all the hot rods and people. Great place to hold the event. Ron
I just emailed in a request for invite. Sorry to hear no reliability run, but I figure this will be another local must see event. So I want to be there.
AJ, This will be as cool as doing the RR, Cept with no signage. I hoping for good weather up the hill, and look forward to seeing ya guys there. It's this saturday!!!!
Attended the last one with Bob Wright (RIP)....it was cool and well worth the visit...hell I have a Flathead powered roadster now but live 1200 miles away....!
