A coupe's a good idea, but I think the stock paint was OK...

I think it still needs some round headlights and maybe a set of steelies.

Yeah, I realized that, but I actually liked how the roof was slightly raked (no other modern cars are like that, really), so tried to keep it (as making the whole thing horizontal would actually be trying to make it older, instead of - uhm - better, in a modern sense), while doing the chop, which i think extended the hood... eh, whatever, that shortie wins :D

Thank you, I was afraid I'd screw it up since it has a history :) I must admit I didn't spend too much time on it :)

  12. FLX, dig it as is..nice cruzer..but the after is wicked too, I'd be hard pressed to mess with something that orig and solid looking, and find one not as orig/nice and the do the after.

    The Tangerine fade.
the illustion of it is sweet

Alright, so getting the creative juices flowing again for my new 31' Chevy Coupe build. Found this copper color and I like it. I would like to see the copper on the 31' Chevy (black one with red wires) . As well as swapping the wires out for the black gennies with blackwalls on the Ford. Maybe throw a hood top on it in one pic (I don't care if you get rid of the carbs). Thanks in advance. As always you guys are awesome!

That car looks great, but the red engine has to go.

That does tone it down pretty nicely.

I couldn't bear to mess up that gorgeous black paint.
So I messed up the wheels and engine block, instead. :D

A while back there was some of us messing around with a crew cab ElCamino, I just found this a minute ago online.

    Guys, I need some help.
Almost ready to repaint my ´54, but I´m starting to doubt my mental image... I was leaning towards a copper/red pearl on the body with a dark roof with some metallic or pearl on top, but maybe it´s too boring? I want a warm color on the body and a darker roof which, I think, makes the unchopped roof line less prominent, but I´m open for any ideas!
Some of my own photoshops and how she looks at the moment in black/red.
And she´s going to be glossy, no more suede.
    What do you think?
