Damn! Thanks for posting. This is what it's all about. It took some serious balls to get out there and pound something even that fast without any of the safety equiptment we take for granted today. I have a pic somewhere of an old SoCal track with a guy running in a welding hood! No brain bucket. I guess he just wanted to keep the dirt out of his eyes.
