Yes, it's been covered here several times before, but I figured I'd spice up the title a bit for those who haven't seen it.

This is an amazing video from FoMoCo about the design and development process for the 1949 Ford line. Well worth watching over and over to pick out the little details.

At about 4 minutes in, there's sketches of enough concept cars for the next two decades of Ridler Awards!

At about 6:00 in, they're covering the clay bumpers with chrome tape. How do we get such tape? pretty neet if it can lay down smooth on compound curves! That one draftsman laying down on the board was totally into it! Full size clay mock ups are cool.

Hand drafting - what talent that took! Modern CAD can make any hack into a design genius! Myself included.

Now if we could only find the "missing" ten minutes at the end!
