Hey Ya'll, Just a quick note from The Texas Hill Country - I have been enjoying the build threads and coverage of Central Texas events. Working with my 13 yr old son building a traditional Model A Coupe Hot Rod. Dig all the Hot Rod stuff Austin has to offer- LSRU, ASS, and the Hot Rod Revolution. Hope to be on the road soon.
Have to do something to spike young kids interest on hands-on skills that education system no longer teaches (welding, metal work and wood work). My son loves the history of this Art called building Hot Rods. He loves those history articles in Rodders Journal of how it came to be. Can not ask for more in life than garage time with your kid that GETS IT! He is the next generation of Hot Rodder.
