Having issues with posts

When I log in and read new posts. Then I sign out. Later when I sign back in all the post are there like I never read them. So I don't know where I left off. Please help me figure this out.

I have had the same problem for about 4 days now.

 

Dont sign out. Have your computer remember your user name and password, unless you are on a public computer.

 

I never sign out.
Seems it deletes all your cookies when you sign out.

 

You sign out and clean yer cookies out if you don't want to be tracked all the time.

It's merely a preference.

My computer deletes it cookies automatically. It has been like this for 4-5 days now.

 

I never sign out, and it's doing the same thing to me.

It's like it goes back in time or something!

I read a thread that I posted on because it is in bold and says it has new posts since I read it, but it is just where I left off a day or two before, with no new posts...

This section shows several threads as having new posts since I last visited, and the dates of the last posts are several days ago in some cases, and I have been on and reading some just last night.

And again...I never sign out, so I believe it's an actual glitch, not multiple user error.

 

I haven't nor do I ever log off and Im having that same issue. Just started the problem a week or 2 now.......bill

 

I am having the same issue. I thought maybe I had done something wrong. I never sign out either.

My computer deletes all cookies when I close the window. Using the remember me button fixed my problems without messing with internet options.

 

Thanks Ryan, I thought it was just me. I liked how the thread titles would go "un-bold" when I had been there before.
(That feature still works fine at the Garage Journal and Ford Barn.)

I guess it's the same issue I am having, ( or related).
I seem to remember that under "Display options", that there was an option to "view all posts since last visit" or the like, unless I am mistaken.
Seems that now I wade through like 20 or so pages before I finally have to get on with something else.
It used to be that after 8-10 pages, I would get to posts that were no longer in "bold" print.
As it is now, as I wade through the 20 or so pages, I still see ones I had visited before, still in "bold", that have nothing added since the last visit.
The same amount of pages, and I still come across posts that I have "subscribed" to.
Yes, on both computers that I use, I have selected "remember me on this computer", and just click on "Jalopy Journal" and start surfin' the H.A.M.B.
