54 Frame build

    It doesn't look like much but bending 1/8 plate with limited tools SUCKS. I was able to finish up the upper bag crossmember and get it welded in place.

    here is one of the inner plates I was refering too, bent with only a vise and a couple hammers.

    Yep, bending plate with a small sledge hammer and a vise is time consuming. I do it. Drilling 3" Holes in 2x4 3/16" wall rectangle steel with a holesaw and 1/2" drill takes forever too! So where you located? Im near Hernando/Olive Branch Ms.

    ah, you going to the car show at harrahs casino in may? Im going, hope to have my truck there running or not.

    Are you talking about showfest? Yea I'll try and make that show, probably want have anything there though.

    Wow its been a while since I've updated this thread. Been building my dad a 23 t bucket roadster. Being as how we are almost finished with his, its time to get back to work on my 54.
    I've gotten some sheet metal work done on it since last updated. Full smooth sheet metal firewall and inner kick panels.
