Glad to be here.Own 1940 Chevy coupe,first car,since 1961.Daily driver for 9 years had been 1955 F100.Been broke down for a year or so,building new engine.and rebuilt front end.My opinion,real hot rods have kingpins. Ran a Bonneville car for 5 years,broke me. Been away from racing since 2008.Now involved with new car for 2012,have some very good friends who are helping me with finacial end and equipment.I'm the youngest,65.Coupe has seen 5 engines,3 small blocks and 2 big ones, 2 paint jobs,$110 in those days, 1 T.J. $88 tuck n roll job,now in its 3 color primer coat.When she gets on the road,nothing newer then 1968 on it and thats the early Camaro disc brakes on a Bell tube axle.. 58 T-Bird 9 inch,61 year T-10,hopefully early 327.Current daily driver is my Dads old 4 door Nova.He bought it in 76,smokes a bit,plugs every 2000 mi.Old story"wife says,greasy clothes,old cars,loud friends or her."Miss her somtimes.Later, look me up at Bonneville this year,1947 Plymouth Coupe,AA/CBFA # 5757
