You sir, have an amazing talent. Capturing both the Art and essence of a moment in time and the subject. I look forward to your submissions and am continually blown away!

    Dan,

Your pics are really great. We were fortunate enough to have our custom at the 2011 GNRS. It is a great source to showcase your work.

Very cool. I was there and this make it look like I was tripping. I wasn't but you bring a whole new flavor to the show. Very talented.

Dan, whilst trying not to sound like a broken record, your work is amazing. Absolutely amazing. Thank you for taking the time to post each and every one of these incredible images.

    I eagerly await more updates.

  14. Dan, we all know that hot rodding is taking a stock vehicle and modifying it to make it your own, your photographs take that concept one step further and show how you can alter a photograph to make it a piece of artwork! I'am very impressed with your work!

Wow guys! I am blushing! Thanks for all these great, wonderful comments! More coming. Let's start today out with Larry Watson's Thunderbird.

Thanks to Roger O'Dell for letting me know this was the original not a recreation

Those shoots are so nice, they should be in a hard cover book.

Thanks Gassers Garage and graverobber63! I actually am working on some self published books on these types of images which will be available in both hard and soft cover through Blurb.com. The first one will be by subject - ie Customs or Customs and Rods. There will also be some car show specific ones in cases where I think I have enough good pictures to do it.

graverobber63 - I could not agree with you more on the watermark! I have been trying to come up with an efficient way of doing it. Right now I use Lightroom to resize the image, make sure its the right colorspace and add the watermark - all in a single click, but it seems to only allow using their text based watermarks. I need to look deeper.

Anyhow - here are a few mono or almost mono versions of some of the shots seen previously.
