ford vs merc stainless profile?

Does anybody know if the profile of the side window stainless from a 49-51 ford is the same as a 49-51 merc? Will the clips fit ?

I have a Merc stainless piece loose off of a car. I compared it to the piece on the quarter window on a 50 ford coupe.

NO, it was close. the ford looks to be at least 1/16th taller maybe just abit more. and just a touch longer. maybe you could reform the ford piece?
