Kellan, what I like to see you get done before the show is fill in the holes where the old tailights use to be, of course the deck lid too. :)

  3. I've been following your build for a while, and I have to say, your skills are very impressive!!!

Keep it up, and we all appreciate you taking the time to document and post your build!

Sorry guys I was sick last week. Last monday a customer brought a planishing hammer in that didnt work. I fixed it and then I bought it. tonight I started on the firewall. The bottom was touching the bellhousing so I redid the bottom. I also took the engine and tranny out so it will be easier to work on the rest of the firewall.

I finished the firewall finally. I filled all the holes, got rid of the bump where the fuel line bolted on and buffed the body number plate. The local car show is coming up in the middle of February and my car is going in so I decided to drop a little nicer flatty in

Looks great! It's amazing how little details like a clean firewall can really send a car to the next level.

Look at the pot call the kettle black. Im waiting to see some progress on your cars since you bought a new tv.

I even got dad to come down tonight and take paint off of the roof skin. I think thats the first time he has worked on a car in a long time

Friday I finished the passenger garnish molding. Saturday I got my wheels back from the powder coater. I also started on filling the roof on saturday, I will post pics of that when I get it done. The roof should be done in the next night or two. I got the wheels and tires mounted and balanced and onto the car. I have also been working on a new steering box mount as well. Stay tuned as I finish things I will post up pics

  25. You are a really talented fellow, that has the envy of many of us.

Take care of yourself and it will take you far. This has been an incredible resurrection of a car many of us would have left for the sitting & rotting thread.

    Hats off to you!
