Identifing Holley 1barrel carbs?

    I have a couple of older carbs but dont know where to look for markings?
    On the bowel?

    They should be stamped on the body right above or in front of the fuel fitting.

    Google Holley 1904 you can get more info from several websites .

    What John356 said, the numbers etc atre not prominant on them, i have some without any identification. Most of the 'nameplate' stuff is under the bowl cats into the throttle body. I think the List# would've been on a seperate tag maybe? But, it is a Holley 1904 and used on many different vehicles and (i think) used into the 70's (i believe recalling them used on the ford fairmont). These are the carbs that originally came with the glass bowl until the govmnt got involved because of the leaks associated with them.

    Ok,now that I know I have a "holley1904"are rebuild kits hard to find?

    I am new here and i've been trying for 2 days to figure out how to post a question with no luck. Maybe someone will read this and tell how to do it. My question is how to identify a holley glass bowl carb as to what it came off of. EBR 9510-c. List 1185. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
