Hello. I am mike. I like traditional RODS; however I am really into motorcycles. I just finished a 77 shovelhead, but that is not why I joined. I recently purchased a 1960 (falcon) ranchero with a rebuilt ford 2.4l 144 straight 6. I am wondering if a company made an intake manifold for dual single carbs. and or other performance parts...

    MEmiller,
Best thing to do is to pull the 144(great boat anchor) and replace it with a 200 six. Twice the power and yes there are quite a few 6 cyl performance parts companys around with a good selection of go fast goodies. What i would do is replace every thing with a small block Ford engine. It would be cheeper and there again more power. Also a good trans. a c-4, 4-speed, (my choice a T-5 5speed) Now you've got something.
I have 4 Falcons. Two are 5.0 T-5 5 speeds. Hard to beat. My next one will be a 60-63 Ranchero with the SBF T-5 5 speed combo.
